Halb äthiopisch, halb monnemerisch – so könnte man unsere Familie beschreiben. In unserem Restaurant wird eine Brücke geschlagen zwischen unserer schönen Heimat am Nil und der Hometown am Neckar. Die Meisten von uns sind in Äthiopien geboren und aufgewachsen, bringen also die exotische Tradition und Kultur, das pikante, ganz andersartige Essen, den aromatischen Kaffee und die afrikanische Wärme mit. Und Einige von uns sind hier in Mannheim geboren – dem Ort, an dem Multi- und Interkulturalität inspiriert und gelebt wird.

Alle sind wir mit der jeweils anderen Kultur über Jahrzehnte vertraut. Uns prägt also eine starke interkulturelle Verbundenheit. Wir sind Mütter, Tanten, Geschwister, Cousinen, Nichten, Neffen und Freunde - ein Puzzle der Traditionen, Generationen,

Bräuche und Geschmäcker.

Half Ethiopian, half Mannheimian - that's the way to describe our family. In our restaurant, a bridge is built between our beautiful home at the Nile and our hometown at the Neckar. Most of us were born and raised in Ethiopia, bringing with us the exotic tradition and culture, the spicy, very unique food, the aromatic coffee

and the African warmth.

And some of us were born here in Mannheim - the place where multi- and interculturality is inspired and lived. We are all familiar with each other's culture for decades. So we have a strong intercultural connection. We are mothers, aunts, siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends - a puzzle of traditions, generations,customs and tastes.
